A Few Suggestions

Just a few ideas to help your chatting experience to be memorable and one you want to return to each and everyday.

Again this network was formed on the basis of No Rules. But there are some suggestions we feel are necessary to bring to your attention:

1. Do NOT Flood the channel with large pastes, ASL Requests, or URLs or spam.
   This is very annoying and nonproductive for a fun, interesting chat. It has been proven that someone who repeatedly posts the same url or spams the chat room will be trouble. They tend to offend other users, attempt to take over the server or cause it to crash, or otherwise just be jerks in multiple ways. This will not be tolerated, and will result in removal from the channel, then a G-Line. If if becomes necessary for a K-Line we will go that far and you will never be allowed back on the network. So please DON'T DO IT.
2. No Terrorist, Political Takeovers, or Murder plots or planning is allowed
   This doesn't seem like it would be a major problem, and in general it's not, but in order to protect ourselves as server owners and the peace and tranquility world wide, please do not engage in such discussions, if you are the victim of Terrorism, or have experienced an atrocity of some sort and require someone to talk to about, that is fine, but planning of such activities is strictly forbidden and will result in not only you being removed from our network, but all related information, Name, IP, and content of discussion will be turned over to the authorites, so please don't do it, let's just have fun while chatting
3. Please do not ask to be an operator.
   In most cases no one gets Operator status, server owners have no need for the status and we're not looking for operators, there is usually an owner not too far away, therefore please do not request Operator status.If we think you may be a good canidate for being a channel operator, we'll just set your mode. We're nice like that :).
4. Server owners do set policy for there own servers.
   What may fly on one server, may not on another. Everyone offends in different ways. Therefore if someone asks you to stop doing something or saying a word or phrase, please stop. This is not really something we like to deal with, but will if forced. In the past there have been some mistakes made, even by server owners, and people have gotten offended. We have worked hard to resolve those issues and hope you will do the same. Helpful Hint: Don't come into the rooms drunk or high on drugs, that always leads to problems.
5. Though the network doesn't have rules, some rooms do
   Again, what may fly in one room, may not in another. In most cases there aren't any restrictions as to the color of language you choose to use. But at this time there are a couple of rooms to be careful of. If you get a Private Message from the Server Admin PackRat, Please follow the instructions provided in the message, If you fail to do so, or go into the room to spite this suggestion or the suggestions made by PackRat, you will be banned from the room. If you don't agree with the policy set in the room, then please leave that room and go to another to chat.
6. Bots and New Channels Require Approval
   Just a basic suggestion, it helps us to keep empty rooms under control, and we know what users are bots, in case something goes wrong. Most of the time we'll say yes, but just ask first, give us a quick rundown as to what your desires are for having a room/bot. Unauthorized Rooms and Bots will be removed. Sorry, but asking isn't that hard.
7. We're not interested in linking to other nets
   Been there done that, didn't work, won't happen again, ok?? Good. Repeated requests will be considered spamming, refer to #1.
8. Well I'm a dude with a server and want to link it to your network
   Well then, get to know us. We're always interested in meeting new people and if you agree with everything above and anything else that may comeup, you may just be able to join our humble little network. Please Note: New Server Links Require ALL current server admin's approval, and sometimes they are tough to reach, so please be patient with us. We'll get to you :)
9. HAVE FUN!!!
   What's the purpose of having a chat network is you're going to be all obstinate, dull and boring. This brings me to another point. As mentioned above, we all have regular lives we are forced to take part in from time to time, and aren't always at our computers. If you find yourself in rooms and no one is every around, try coming in at different times during the day or night and whatever you do, DO NOT start cussing people out or disrespecting people because they are lurking. If we catch you, you will be removed. Just hang out and when we get back, we'll have some fun.

If you use Win32 and have heard of mIRC and insist on using it, go ahead and get UPP mIRC. It's a little more secure than standard mIRC.
